Bethesda Softworks announced a $1 million donation for the COVID-19 relief. The world is under the attack of infectious disease and billions of people are staying home without any work to do. Due to this situation, a lot of people are going through a serious financial crisis. And now for the cause of relief work, the Gaming giant is donating $1 Million dollars to put a humanitarian effort into helping people and the community around them.
According to their information, $1 million checks will be split into three ways and half the donation will be given to Direct Relief. Direct Relief is a relief organization working physically to the ground and providing food and other support. They are also providing personal protective equipment to healthcare workers. UNICEF is the front line organization working to provide safety towards children and mothers and Bethesda comes to take part in that humanitarian work and decided to donate $2,50,000. On the other hand, it is donating the rest of the million to the local communities where Bethesda lives and works.
A few weeks earlier, the Humble Bundle raised 6.5 million dollars by selling games under the title of COVID-19 Bundle. From this 6.5 million, $4,00,000 went to the cause of Corona Virus relief through Direct Relief. And more and more of the world gaming companies are donating to participate in the fight of the COVID-19.
