Gloomhaven’s latest sequel Frosthaven expected to raise $500,000 for this Kickstarter RPG tabletop game. But surprisingly they were able to raise $5 million in funding on the first day of the campaign. This unexpected number is ten times higher than their expected number.
Gloomhaven is a co-op RPG game that can be played with a group of friends against ruthless monsters. Depending on one person’s decision, the fate of the entire group rests. On the other hand, the decision you make for yourself, that can change your future in the story. According to your character’s achievement, you can move onto another goal of your carrier. Because of the outstanding storyline, Gloomhaven became wildly successful upon its release back in 2017.
Frosthaven being another sequel of the Gloomhaven, is making news in the gaming industry. It is the fourth campaign of the Gloomhaven sequel. Isaac Childres is the designer of Gloomhaven and he is the man behind all the successful campaigns. Isaac launched the Frosthaven campaign on 31 March 11 am, and in just 10 minutes, the game hits the expected half-million funding and it took an hour to raise $1 million. This successful campaign hits $5 million on the first day. Frosthaven campaign will end by the first May.
No doubt, that this Frosthaven campaign has seen overwhelming support from the investors driven from the success of the previously made Gloomhaven. Frosthaven has updated some features including resource trading that replaces the previous money trading feature. They have also brought a massive update to the Frosthaven town in order to attract new characters. A puzzle book has also been introduced with a strange language.
