PAX West is still planning to organize the show in September despite the COVID-19 continuation. There are hundreds of thousands of events that have been canceled due to the ongoing Corona Virus. This year all the biggest events from the gaming industry called off and whatever scheduled in the future is threatened. GDC, EVE Fanfest, QuakeCon, E3, and most recently, Gamescom all were forced to cancel their events to contribute to stopping the spread of the Corona Virus.
PAX West was scheduled to be held from 20-22 November 2020, but it seems like there is no possibility to hold in November. The organizer Reed Exhibitions is planning to hold this event in September instead, at least for this year. The organizer has declared the precise date also in paxsite.com saying, ” “We tend to be pretty quiet this time of year, but since we’ve had some questions from fans and exhibitors we wanted to let everyone know that as of this moment, we’re still planning on putting together a great PAX West this coming Labor Day Weekend (September 4th – 7th) for you, and we will be updating our website with more information on badges and hotel registration in the coming months,” organizers wrote at paxsite.com. Though the new date is five months away, still there is a chance for this event to happen.
