Rockstar Games Team has recently announced 5% of its in-game revenue to COVID-19 relief effort. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, small businesses have closed their doors and several communities are suffering deeply. Through twitter, Rockstar Games have confirmed a donation package for small businesses that are suffering from the lockdown. Besides, as many communities supported by the government are having difficulty accessing government relief currently and this donation will help them in particular.
Red Dead Online and GTA Online both are very famous online games by Rockstar. Reportedly, starting from 1st April to the end of March, the five percent revenue from the in-game transaction of these particular games will be donated for the Corona Virus relief effort. The developing company has also expressed that they will support the local community and businesses struggling during this pandemic directly and through organizations helping people on the ground.
