Sega and developer Creative Assembly has declared a new free to download video game for steam members. Total War: Shogun 2 will be available from April 27. Total War: Shogun 2 remains one of the most popular strategy video games that was first released in 2011. Being part of the total war series, Total war: Shogun 2 is set in 16th century Japan like the first game of the series. Before this edition, some of the games in the series were set in a different part of Middle East and Europe.
Starting from Monday, April 27, the download will be available till May 4. And whoever downloads this can keep it for free as long as they want. On the other hand, Creative Assembly is also holding sales of all the other Total war Games on steam during this time. The developer says in their website, “The past few weeks have presented unimaginable challenges for many of us. But the remarkable collective effort being made by the global community to overcome this moment of adversity has been truly inspirational. With this in mind, we want to continue to encourage you all to stay home and save lives by extending a gift to everyone to help make this difficult situation a little bit easier.” So it is clear that Creative Assembly is offering this free game to motivate people to stay home and make things easier with their time.
