Firaxis has recently announced its new project XCOM: Chimera Squad and it will be released on 24 April. Do you like XCOM 2? If you have played this firefighting alien games, you would definitely know that what is going to come in the latest edition. Its been long since the last update of this series back in 2017’s XCOM 2: War of The Chosen. This latest edition will be the extended update with a more exclusive storyline. Basically this is the story of what happened after the victory over the menacing aliens in the previous edition.
In the previous XCOM 2, humans won the battle against Aliens and this edition is just set after five years of the victory. After the fiver years of liberation, Chimera Squad controls a group of elite forces and aliens have become an uneven alliance. This new update has changed some of the tactics in previous games. It changed into a turn-based unite combatting system. The new breach mode has been introduced where you can set up your agent in the different entry points. It is not like you will be able to set anyone in specific points. But depending on your players’ ability, you can assess and set up your team. In this new edition, you will also get opportunities to freeze enemies in order to change your hero’s positions. Though your hero must have the ability with special combat tactics to move hither and thither.
