Are you waiting for the Postapocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 3? Guess what, you have to wait a bit more to experience this game.
Microsoft’s InXile Entertainment has announced yesterday that Wasteland 3 will be released on August 28. It was supposed to release for major gaming consoles including PC, Xbox One, Play Station 4 on May 19. While Corona Virus is affecting everything, the gaming industry is also not far from this.
InXile Studio head Brian Fargo confirmed the news through Twitter and showed his concern for release date saying ” “We’ve been excited to see the Wasteland 3 beta so well received, but the reality is that with these new logistical challenges our release was going to be impacted,”
He has also mentioned that remote work from home is one of the reasons along with many other logistic challenges. There are many publishers and developers pushing their release dates further because of distribution challenges in this lockdown.
The original Wasteland is one of the early pioneers in the RPG gaming genre released in 1988. The follow up for the Wasteland, Wasteland 2 got released in 2014 which is still enjoyed as a modern PC RPG rival. For the first time, Wasteland 3 has been developed on a frozen wasteland setup.
